Frequently asked questions.
What is coaching that includes the body and spirit?
Great question! The body holds your memories. For instance, you may feel anxious and we will work on how that lives in you. Are your shoulders up around your ears? In these changing times we are all feeling it in our bodies. Working through the body allows real change to take place. One of my teachers said “when it is in the muscle, then it is a fact”. Kinda like driving a car, and you realize, oh I was spaced out the last few minutes — the muscle knows how to drive and respond. We include the body in this coaching to assist us in bringing forth your own innate wisdom. Your authentic self. As for spirit, we work with whatever sense of spirit you may have. I do not preach to you what spirit is, again, we open you to your own innate wisdom there. As in “What do I care about? What am I made for? What lights me up inside? What is a source that animates me? Who am I? These sorts of questions exist in us and this coaching does not shy away from them if they come up.
How many coaching sessions will I need?
I am not prescriptive, that is, I don’t say, “Oh, you need 10 sessions, I need a retainer, or I have a 10 session service package.” We work together to craft a rhythm and schedule that supports you and feels right. That said, typical coaching intervals can start as weekly, every other week, every three weeks and then go to monthly or quarterly.
How long are the coaching sessions?
Coaching sessions are tailored to your needs. Sessions can be 1 hour, 90 minutes, or 2 hours.
Can couples benefit from coaching?
Absolutely! I offer relationship coaching for couples of all sexual orientations and I also offer business coaching for couples who might be in business together.
